Terrace Edge Wines

Wow! We chose to visit this winery on the strength of their 5 star rating. We were not disappointed. The 6 wines we tasted were all delicious but we limited ourselves to buying 3 bottles as was the olive oil bought 1 bottle and the Kalamata olives yep, bought a jar of those, too! And the gourmet toasties were the perfect accompaniment. We signed up to their wine club on the spot and can't recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent tasting and friendly owners. First time I’ve tried a Syrah and it was fantastic. Appreciated the olive tasting as a bonus. Free tasting when you purchase a bottle. Highly recommend a visit and nice to see a vineyard that’s not overly commercialized.

Wonderful winery! We had the toasties with our tasting and they were delicious. All of the wines we tried were great, but the liquid geography riesling in particular was just perfect. We picked up a few bottles to take back to Aus, but we should have got cases! The staff were really nice and accommodating as well. Can't wait to go back :

Still family owned local winery. When we went for the tasting$8 for 8 superb wines Jill who is a owner looked after us with Kiwi friendly hospitality. All their wines taste fantastic! I’ll definitely come back. They grow their own olives and make olive oil which tasted excellent,too.

Wine is okay, not as good as I remember. Tasting experience is not worth it at $15 for small pours.

Not that Terrace Edge Wines needs this review, as the quality speaks for itself. But just in case, not only well known for its wine, but also for exceptionally fine olive oil. Astringent, buttery, green flavor...you can even smell the fresh olive..it's just perfect!

Visited on a Sunday during Delta Level 2. Excellent wines - definitely ranking the best in Waipara. Innovative wines with some cool varieties. Olive Oil also. Organic status. Brilliant wine tasting service by the owner.

Absolutely loved this winery and olive grove! We decided to have the wine tasting and appetizer pairing. And they did not disappoint! Jill, the owner and mother of the working family vineyard was so gracious and humble as she told us about each pairing with the body of the wines. She was actually a highlight of the visit!The pairing appetizers were perfect and deliciousTheir Pinot Noir and Rose we our favorites. Left with a bottle of wine, olive oil and olives.

Super friendly service, stunning views and delicious wine&food. We had the wine tasting with matching snacks and it was a beautiful experience. The 2016 Pinot Noir is stunning.
