Te Weka Restaurant

Rooms very average for the price. No mattress protector on the bed and food in Restaurant was below average. Fish very dry and over cooked, wine list below average and breakfast food cold. Shower pressure in rooms was poor but we were appreciative of the water bottles supplied given water quality due to recent rain.

Stayed overnight at Portage in the Weka room. Great location in a beautiful bay. Room was large and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Really nice spot, love to come back. Right by the water so go play in the water then relax on the deck outside the snapper bar with a cold drink then enjoy an evening meal at the portage restaurant next door

After a long road through very windy tracks we were treated to the best fish and chips we've ever had. Big portion with crispy chips fresh salad and perfectly cooked fish. Friendly staff and very clean. Well done.
