Te Ara Koropiko West Spreydon School

Personally thought that this school was horrible. I used to attend it and now am in high school, I was assaulted several times and the only thing they tried to do was keep it quiet. After being assaulted I had to spend the rest of the day at school and when I got in the car they hadn't talked to my mother about the situation or had done anything until she got the police involved and they were forced to give him a proper punishment. They do not teach the children proper respect or how to behave which raises the major bullying issue they had there. 60% of the teachers there were cruel and I highly believe should have been fired from the way they treated some of their students. A lot of children there end up developing anxiety, which of course, is a shame. Both me and my brother had difficult experiences there as well as of course many other students. I definitely don't recommend sending your children here.

Discipline is essential for children. When a stern talking to is enough to ruin your child's experience, that's on you. I don't envy anyone who needs to discipline children with current restrictions placed on teachers.

Worst school I have ever sent my son to and will never recommend to any one after watching a teacher screaming at a child with my high needs kid in the same room absolutely disgusting behaviour and the principal takes no responsibility at all for any of it

love this school, carried my education really well and has the best teachers EVER. send ur kid here its worth it.

As a parent I was really disappointed after sending my daughter to this school. There was a lot of bullying going around the school and when we raised this issue to the staffs, they didn't take any action against it and they just ingnored the issue. My daughter was really depressed after going to this school and it impacted on her learning, attitude and also in her self confident level. As parents of a previous student we personally don't recommend this school, at all.
