Opawa School

Thanks for being such an amazing school and supporting my tamariki as they develop and grow. My children have come leaps and bounds from when they first started at this school. Kez is an amazing teacher. Thank you for helping my family feel more confident

One of the Best Schools you could ever want your child to attend.nYou are welcomed by the Patient, Pro Active ,Caring Staff.nWho only want the best for your children and your family.nThey encourage children to believe in themselves and never give up.nIF I could give 10/10stars I would!!!nI have seen my Grandchildren bullied,ignored,and hurt at another school-nWhen they started at Opawa School they were treated with Respect-Understanding and Kindness.nThey have a hands on approach with Education-its always about the best interests of the child.nI nearly gave up on NZ Education until we walked through the gates of Opawa School.

Had a fun time, good school in my opinion, maybe didn't teach everything needed for high school but managed just the same and turned out fine.

TRESSPASS ME FROM THE SCHOOL CAUSE I THREATED LEAGAL ACTIONS...nRUNG FRIDAY YOUR STAFF SAID THE PRINCEPLE WOULD CONTACT ME ITS TUESDAY NOW RUNG YOU GIYS 3 MORE TIMES AND STILL NO ONE GETTING BACK TO ME THIS SCHOOL IS USELESS THEY DONT FIX THE BULLYING IN THE SCHOOL MY OLDEST HATED IT BEING CALLED FAT BY STUDENT'S PRINCEPLE IS DREADFUL AND BO PUN INTENDEDnWas at the school at 250pm Friday to pick up due to needing to pick a second child from another school at 3pm very unprofessional effect. Monday morning being abused by a old lady teacher regarding parking for a second in tenants carpark. She couldn't stick to the 2m distance rule very concerned about the safety protocols at this school highly recommend any parent looking for a new school to not choice this one

Excellent school can't thank them enough! carter's for all learning levels and needs as 1 of my children is dyslexic and was lost for many years at south Brighton school, she spent the last years at Opawa and excelled in her learn in so many ways as they went the extra mile. They also got her into a special class at hagley as she would have been lost in main stream... my other 2 children are not Dyslexic and go there even after moving out to rolleston and trying there school but only to be told by a teacher my daughter needs to change to fit in. I sorted a house out near opawa re enrolled them at opawa school then happily drove them to and from rolleston till we moved back into town. Kids are so much more happier now
