Story

Welcome to my world of creating art from pallets.

Six months ago I gave up watching tv, and needed to find something else to do to pass my time at nights. I am not one for sitting around with idle hands, I had dabbled in a little upcycling, revamping dining chairs, doing upholstery and painting furniture, just learning as I went. I took the plunge and did a chalk paint workshop as I love this paint and the effects you can get from it, and this lead me to pallet art.

This hobby of mine started overtaking my life, I wanted to recreate or revamp a new piece nearly everyday, it got to the stage where there wasn't much space in our house untouched by all my bits, so I took the plunge and listed my stuff (I didnt call it art at that stage) on a local buy sell page and it sold all in a day! plus orders started coming in for more, I was stoked to say the least, so after a few orders fulfilled i decided why not take a bigger plunge and put it out for the cyberworld to see, Cr8tivemotion on instagram was first up, as I run my own massage business called Body Motion so wanted to somehow connect the too and now its Taylor Made on Facebook which I thought was more appropriate.

I try to keep each piece unique, If a specific design is given to me by a customer it will never be used again, there are generic ones done time to time as they are the most popular, and if anyone wants their pets done, my clever sister can design and draw the image for you from a favourite photo of your pet (extra cost), for me to then use for your personalised art piece.

Each piece of Art takes about 10 hours, and it is just a hobby for me, family and work life still come first, this is just a night time fill in, it takes me to my happy place when everyone in the house is sleeping, (im not the best of sleepers)
