Story

We are the oldest fishing tackle shop in Taupo, located right down on the water front end of Tongariro St. We are the only shop in Taupo specializing in freshwater fishing, offering excellent service and advice about fishing our local lakes and rivers. We work closely with local fly fishing guides and charter boat operators, and we can help you arrange your day out on the water, what ever your requirements are. We have a very extensive range of fly tying materials.

Very good information about what they sale
Got just what I needed for the job and always a good yarn. The guys are full of knowledge.
Stock not updated on website leaving customers ordering products that are not in stock... Had to chase my order by phone, after a week and an email no reply only to find that well over half of what I have ordered was not in stock... Asked for full refund.
Excellent supply of fly tying materials and equipment. Great knowledge and service.
This shop is amazing grt staff grt prices they set you up with your fishing neads.Must check this shop out.
Excellent. As a visitor from UK was able to hire whole outfit and obtain permits to fish. Advice also given on places conditions and flies. Highly recommended. Will use again on next visit in 2018.
