Stayed one night in our camper. Note some sites only have power and no water. You need to ask if you do want water.nThe laundry facilities are useless. Don't waste your money. The dryer doesn't work properly at all.nGreat location, central to everything. The thermal pool is a nice touch and good play ground for the kids.nOverall, place just needs some minor upgrades/TLC and it would be amazing!
Advantages:nRooms are clean, nice, spacious and had a decent kitchenettenThere are a few activities onsite for kids and a pool and spring water hot tubs.nThe site is secure, parking is easy and right outside the rooms.nnDisadvantages:nThere were no covers on the window or door glass so light comes in earlynThere were a couple of steps up to the room but I’m sure accessible ones are available
Stayed in poolside unit.nThe receptionist Bonnie was friendly and checked me in quickly with a smile. She explained the facilities and where they were.nGave some advice about where restaurants were when I asked,she was very helpful. Pleasant front staff like her, makes a difference when travelling solo.nExcellent location close to shops and restaurants. Clean with everything you may need in the kitchen.Bathroom shower hot and good volume.nAppreciated that the fresh milk came in a small glass bottle not plastic.nEnjoyed my stay and will look out for a Tasman camp for future travels.
This was a great camping ground. Our room was perfect for our family of 4. The hot pool was lovely and we enjoyed talking to other guests . The TV room was one of the best I've seen for young children with a range of activities and toys set up for them to use.nI loved how we would receive text messages of all the local actives and events that were happening while we stayed. I would definitely recommend it
Upgraded to a poolside room. Great spacious room to spread out over 5 nights. Our only disappointment was the heat of the pools - too cold for winter. Thank you for having a smart tv too. Every motel/ hotel should upgrade to have them. Lovely clean well looked after camping ground. Highly recommend
