Had the best waitangi weekend! Best holiday park i have stayed at . The cabins were very spacious and clean. Close to rotorua township.My kids had so much fun at the pool, and family spa they also enjoyed playing at the park and shooting hoops. There was however one party pooper cleaning lady, who did yell at my 2 year old grandson for lifting the outdoor checkers on the checkers games board, not sure why they would have that there if the kids cldnt play with it lol but any who, awsome weekend away thanku to the ladies in the office for your hospitality we will definitly be back
Stayed in the campground under a big tree next to the washrooms and cookhouse. Had good washing machines and a big kitchen area with barbeques and a lounge area with games and a tv room. Nice views of some of the volcanic features in the area. The hot pool were also a treat. Did not use the swimming pool but it looked nice.
Booked a bed in a dorm. Great value cos you have access to all facilities, even the hot thermal pools! Each dorm had a kettle and sink, beds were comfortable. Everything looked very clean and tidy. Was happy that the made sure to put me in a dorm with another lady.
We were greated by a super nice lady at the reception which made the day more better. We book a campsite which next to the sulphur point which you can see it near to your tent. Chilling vibe and environment with game room is provided . Location wise is so near as well to city or to the tourist point.kitchen facilities is old but it's working well as it divided by station wise which gave more space for cooking . There is pool and hot pool as well and what I like most is hot pool has family pool where kids can play with it. The sad thing will be internet wise which each device only up to 1GB per day usages.
We stayed at the EKC. Cabins. Its was worth it.nnOur cabin had ants in it and raided my wax tub.nnBut the park is large and beautiful. The only downside is that the pools were tiny.nnWas expecting the pools to be bigger or more of, since it was a thermal park.nnBut overall i had fun.
