I just wanted to give a huge appreciation shout out to the Ambulance staff and Emergency Department staff at Taranaki Base Hospital today for the fantastic care of my mother in law. Thankfully she is going to be ok. Keep up the wonderful work. Glenda
It's a very busy hospital and the lack of funding shows. People being treated in ED corridors etc, long waits, and inevitably errors. The health system can't handle more cuts.nnBUT huge shout-out to Kelly the wonderful PACU nurse who went above and beyond, the lovely Scottish PACU nurse whose name I didn't catch, and the extremely helpful Māori security guard working ED who went out of her way to help me; you guys rock and I know you're doing it all for peanuts.

Big shoutout to the nurses in the E.D last night for making our time in hospital more comfortable for my 2 year old. The blow up hand glove and drink of juice really settled him down.
Had work done at the Dental and Maxillofacial Unit over two days. Excellent. Friendly, informed and personable receptionist. Well informed dentist. An oral surgeon? Competent dental assistant.
