Great ambience , nice deck to enjoy a relaxing coffee or meal . The service was friendly and efficient. A good selection of food and drink . Average pricing. I had an omelette which was presented well and tasted nice - see attached photograph.Recommended dishesClassic Omelette
We love dining out and supporting our local Swanson Station Cafe. Always receive great customer service from Storm at the counter. I highly recommend the passionfruit smoothies made with a scoop of vanilla ice cream Everything we've ordered and eaten to date has been delicious, and we keep coming back for more. Love the outdoors dining on the deck, especially on warm sunny weather, and it's doggy friendly
Every now and then we stop in here for brunch. No trouble getting a table, the food is excellent, and coffees are always good. Spend local and support a good cafe. Recommended.Food: 4/5
We took a trip to Swanson by train to try out the coffee. I had a well brewed flat white and a piece of carrot cake that would definitely add to my waistline! Had to keep my eye on a duck that thought my cake looked like brekkies as well! Definitely pop in there again.
Sadly I wouldn't recommend this place. The café itself is nice and the food is fine but the staff is SO rude. That's a real bummer and drags it down. The wait for coffees is never-ending. Went there a few times and every time had to wait at least 20/30 mins!! Had to ask for a refund a couple of times not to miss the train The staff never apologize, you can clearly tell they don't care and have no sense of pressure either.
First time, normally go to Redwoods cafe a bit further along, I ordered a long black and scone and waited 30min. Busy time of the day and lots of meals being ordered. Will try again when not as busy.
Staff are very compliant with the way they are treated. If you’re waiting for the train and cannot wait for coffee, please don’t order one and stress the barista out making others coffees come slower. The train has nothing to do with the job, they are just conveniently placed at a train station. Look around you and assess if there’s a wait, if so let the barista know you’re in a rush I’m sure she wouldn’t mind.
Indeed very accessible right at the train station end of Western line, food very delicious, coffee and hot chocolate just perfect. The only downside when whanau went for late lunch was the pressure the lady stuff had on her, 30mins left before closing time, there were customers still eating at the deck and she was pushing tables/chairs so hard producing annoying sound. We just left, seemed inappropriate and nasty.
Great service, coffee and food. Had my French Brioche Toast with grilled banana, streaky bacon, butterscotch and side of whipped cream! Yummm. Not too sweet and not too salty, just perfect.
Lovely little Cafe, sadly the food was definitely below par. Salad drowning in awful dressing that tasted straight from a bottle.Food: 1/5
