Because of Trevor I made an effort to visit this cafe because of the owners response to the Cold Cottage Pie review on Tripadvisor. I liked the fact that the owners stood up for themselves. I am glad that I made the effort to eat here. We were seated in under a minute of at one of the only 2 empty tables that were available. After our order was taken our drinks were served followed by our breakfast in around 5 minutes, All perfectly cooked and hot, apart from the orange juice which was ice cold. Shanklin is an area that has many places to eat, many of which are over priced. This is not and I found it great value for money. I think that cafe that is being used by both visitors and locals speaks a volume about how good it is. During our visit a woman let her dog take a **** on the doorstep of the cafe. This was dealt with quickly and professionally by the staff, with no help from the dog owner. This is a great cafe that is clean and well run.
After an early sunrise start and a busy day across the island ahead of us. This was a perfect breakfast to set us up for our adventures. It is always a good sign to see a cafe with regulars. Thank you for your hospitality
The staff are all lush and lovely people to welcome us tourists. The ambiance is great. The food serving is exceptional for a very cheap price. Ingredients tasted fresh you can tell. Place is clean but can be cleaner. Menu options are great and service is on point. Did I say the food is great? For a very affordable price! And waiting time doesn't take too long. I can only wish they can expand the place to accommodate more customers. And I wish they would add meat adobo to the menu. Everyone should try it there. Well-deserved and worth it.
My wife & I visited the Paramount Cafe after we stopped having breakfast at our nearby hotel which was so poor. My wife had a veggie breakfast & I had a breakfast baguette, both superb & great value for money. Friendly welcoming staff made our visit even nicer. Highly recommended & well worth a visit.
Lovely cafe and restaurant. The place has a family feel and we felt very welcome here. I was visiting the island with family and we had fish pie and chips here, really nice and hearty. The service was attentive and the prices are very good value. Definitely worth coming here if you’re in Shanklin.Recommended dishesChips

What a lovely welcome!!! So special to be treated as a person rather than a customer. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a lovely peaceful experience having my tea here. Also worth a mention is the WiFi, the precautions /procedures for Covid, cleaning and quality food, drinks and value. There was nothing to fault. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
Lovely little cafe with friendly staff that does an evening meal too. Very well priced for quality tasty food, didn't take a picture of my garlic and herb chicken with veg and new potatoes as I was too hungry but it was delicious. With a bonus of a chocolate mint with the bill. Cheers!!
