REVIEW 2018 - Great experience. Staff are very friendly and attentive. With the compassion to enlist a Downs person shows you have patience. We will definitely come here again. Thank you so much for restoring faith in great food and great service. REVIEW 2022 Apr - Good Customer service, good atmosphere. We ordered 2x Eggs Bene, salmon and bacon. Both were tasting great. Just the fact that both our eggs were not runny kind of spoiled the whole dish. Our Hot Choc and mocha were great though. This would be an UPDATED RATING of 3 . Added new photos as well

Got the eggs Bene for this price I should’ve got salmon on the other toast but look at the out come wouldn’t recommend this place as it’s over priced and under filled…

1st review I saw was one about the salmon Benedict, I agree!. I love coffee club, bn coming for a long time, compared to the New Lynn Coffee Club? About 3 or 4 tiny little leaves hiding underneath the eggs, tight for ingredients or what?. I paid $65 I havnt even eaten half, the bread is so hard can't even cut into in comfortably , bad on the teeth. The Coffee Club is heading down the drain for me unfortunately. I don't like it anymore

I ordered the potato Rosti with smashed avo and feta, i asked for no eggs, no chilli flakes and for the rosti to be changed to ciabatta toast. My order arrived with Eggs and covered in chilli flakes. The avocado was more brown than green. The feta was covered in chilli flakes There was no relish on it The ciabatta wasn’t toasted. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the order, especially with the price.

We visited today for lunch . The staff were only half listening to me and I had to repeat my order. The restaurant was busy and it took 20 minutes for my meal to arrive . I had the Eggs benedict with bacon and spinach which was very nice. The cost of the meal was average. The restaurant was clean

Very worse experience and customer service. The girl at front doesn't know customer service at all. I was giving order, I'm vegan so I was trying to explain dietary requirements but rather that listening properly or understanding, she was making faces. No smile at face. I don't know her name but I came at 10am on 8 nov 22. No one comes to your cafe to have free. Everyone pay, atleast in return can get good and friendly service. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Do not recommend , 2x flat whites ordered were cold , when I let the staff know they microwaved them !!! Just shocking
