Sundowner Motel

Good comfortable accommodation very close to the town. Facilities were good but parking and access to the unit are not ideal. We stayed in a rear unit and parking outside the unit is on a very steep and narrow drive. Park too close and you can't get out one side of the car, too far out and you block the driveway. You also had to walk past other units doors to get to your unit, unless you climbed over the barrier not an option for many alongside the drive.

Abby was a friendly hostess/owner from the time I was in contact via phone for the booking. She offered a good price for a family of seven. She also came to pick us up at the train station in Greymouth : The motel is in a convenient location. We stayed only for one night. We had a pleasant experience there. Her mum too assisted us during our stay amidst busyness.

Excellent. Spacious, comfortable, modern rooms. Friendly and helpful welcome. Quiet, plenty of parking. Great little milk bottles. Lots of nice, useful touches to the room. Definitely worth a repeat stay.

Lovely place the location is excellent and the trans alpine train station is very close. The room was lovely with everything provided for cooking and washing up after, the staff are very professional and helpful a great place!
