Our first time here and we will be back. Great location and fab views. The rooms are super clean and refurbished relatively recently. Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient.nExtremely well run hotel. Lionel’s is the restaurant next door. I’ll do a separate review but recommend a visit. Couldn’t fault the food and service. Gorgeous fit out. Go.
Absolutely fantastic experience staying here over two nights during a conference.nnThe recent refurbishment looks absolutely amazing and gives the establishment a great feel. Comfortable, warm and a super vibe.nnThe in-house food was incredible. Would recommend the restaurant at any time.nnWill be staying here from now on.nnThanks again to the team for a great experience.
Good sized rooms and the front block has fantastic views across the lake. Close enough to town to be easily walkable. Only minor things that were lacking: no heating in the bathroom, poor lighting when you want to read on the couch, and the bed has an uncomfortable ridge in the middle presumably two mattresses. Otherwise clean, comfortable and well maintained, with nice staff.
Lovely large rooms, nice facilities and friendly staff. The location was excellent with beautiful views from our room. Although it was up there in price, I wasn’t dissatisfied with what we got.
Suncourt Taupo location being close to centre of town and directly opposite the lake is perfect.nThe entire staff level of service was excellent, we extended our stay due to this and the ambience their warmth and efficiency provided. Reception welcoming, fuss free check in and out service excellent.nThe reasturant offers an exciting menu and the quality of food and presentation had us eating within the reasturant multiple times throughout our stay. The staff provided beautiful, friendly interaction with no compromise on service. We will definitely be returning and have decided Suncourt Hotel is our number one choice to stay and dine in Taupo NZ.
