Learn to DANCE at Street Swing! We offer social drop in dance classes and events for engaging people looking to meet friends and have fun! We know you love getting out and having a great time - so come along! Your first class is on us!

Learn to DANCE - to the music you love hearing on the radio, and with great new friends - at Street Swing!

Our Weekly Partner Dance Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can join ANY week, there is no need to bring a partner... aaannnd.... your First Class is FREE!

Class Details:
Tuesdays @ Mt Eden Village Centre
Beginners 7.30pm, Social Dancing from 8.15pm

Thursdays @ Studio 2, TAPAC - The Auckland Performing Arts Centre Beginners 7.30pm, Intermediate 8.30pm, Social Dancing till 10pm

Please arrive a few minutes early so you don't miss the start of class!

No need to book. Simply come when you can!

Awesome place to go if you are keen to upskill your performance skills. Prices are very reasonable and the teachers are definitely qualified....and did I mention, the classes are actually fun...
Great venue, good atmosphere, easy parking. Seating is a bit rickety though.

Lots of parking, nice entrance. Went as a spectator - seemed to have its theatre vibe. The children were happy giving their performances, and the lead instructor was good. Would be much better with more instructors per group. Would recommend it for the holiday programmes, don't know the standard programmes.
Staff were so friendly and accommodating on the phone and allowed me to come in for an audit class, the teacher for my course The Actors Tool Box Kalyani Nagarajan was friendly, inclusive and has excellent skills and was really well prepared. I was included by a class that has a really wide age and cultural diversity and made it easy to come into for someone who hasn’t been in a class like this for some time. The place was easy to find and the building is great with water and food available. Excellent first time experience can’t wait for next week!
Went to Aspire presented by Northern Dance. A dance show put on by seniors. So well organized and beautifully presented. Full house. Congrats to those involved
We love TAPAC our kids have been doing various classes here for 8 to 10 years and they love it, always great teachers and easy to get there parking is simple and no hassles with the billing or quality of the teaching. A great spot.
We went to see our friend participate in an improv course which was pretty entertaining! Small theatre setting with pretty uncomfortable seats! Drinks and ice creams available at reasonable prices.
