With ninety foundation pupils and a staff of four, the College was the realisation of a dream for a group of Presbyterian ministers and laymen who had established the Saint Kentigern Trust in 1949 to found a school for 'the acquisition of knowledge, for the glory of God, and the benefit of mankind, a proper discipline of mind and body, and a life of service to others.' The College took the name of the patron saint of Glasgow, Saint Kentigern, who is also affectionately known in Scotland as Mungo.

Old school has been evolving so rapidly that I couldn’t find any clue of what it was like before. However, this place is where i grew up so I definitely love this place.
I hate this school !!! When I went here, a broskonovich karate chopped me in foot !!! It brused my foot. Picture of fish Ifound on iternet not related
Can fish here at the jetty but not sure if it's very productive
One of the top education in Auckland and come with the costs, also have scholarship Available also! When you are given that opportunity don’t take it for granted and run with it and see where it would take you at the end of those 5 years and embrace it! Be humble and remember your roots
Awesome view great morning out to watch boys playing cricket
A decent school. Holds many nostalgic memories. But this school is a prime example of judging a book by it's cover. Though the facilities are well kept and most of the teaching staff are good at getting across their point, there are some staff which are below average. I find as being a student of this school that some of the staff do not deserve their positions and should be given to teachers who can actually manage. This review may seem biased due to being a student but hear me out. Not pointing any fingers here but one of the heads of a subject which I will not disclose did a horrible job of putting across his point, often leaving out key info which he would call us out on. The only thing that ever pushed me through that class was his witty jokes. He has a warped mindset, saying tracing is alright. It clearly isn't. It's taking someone else's work and drawing over it, then claiming at your own. Clearly going against the schools preaching's about plagiarism. Aside from that the school overall is fine. I enjoyed my time here.
Unbelievable school management! Visited preschool in April 2016 and been told by office admin should be a offer of place in Feb 2017. Until May 2017 over a year got no response from the school at all. No email, no post advising any update. They just taking our application and application fees and let us wait. And when I call them today, I have been told by Julie Rand that's how they running. I don't need to tell them what should they do. People who interest in this school better to get your baby enrolled before they born.
Definitely A School. Not Much Else
Tennis match. What a beautifully presented school!
An excellent school with very good people behind it and great, extensive grounds that allow the kids to enjoy a wide range of sports and activities that allow their minds to stay active for learning.
