Welcome to Mt Wellies Child Care Centre

We are a brand new childcare centre situated in the heart of Mt Wellington on Carbine Road in Auckland that provides quality care and education for children aged 0 – 5.

We are a beautiful, aesthetically designed new facility situated right in the heart of Mt Wellington. The thoughtful design of Mt Wellies welcomes you into the centre with lovely New Zealand Ferns which lead you through to a natural reception area, separate age appropriate, natural rooms and a fantastic outdoor playground.

The centre showcases the natural design that ensures every child is engaged in meaningful learning experiences. Your child will be supported in the development of their communication skills, complex thinking, problem solving, sharing and learning to be confident and competent learners, ready for their next step into primary school.

At Mt Wellies we encourage children to become explorers of their own learning within a well resourced learning environment surrounded by positive relationships. Children will be encouraged to develop learning dispositions that will support them to become competent and confident learners.

Our Mission

The owner Anna Jones believes strongly in providing quality pre-school education and care for children and giving them a strong start in life. Anna has a Masters in Clinical Psychology and knows that a child’s earliest years are key to providing a strong base to a child’s future success in life. This is evident in the thoughtful design of Mt Wellies where you are welcomed into the centre with lovely NZ Ferns which lead you through to a natural reception area, separate age appropriate, natural rooms and fantastic outdoor playground.
