I love supporting St John but sadly not a good experience here. Felt rushed even though came in 20 minutes before closing. It’s not a good look having a manager stand close to your changing room asking if you’re done after 2 minutes or getting clothes you haven’t tried on taken and folded to buy, it feels awkward and uncomfortable. Better to be patient and have a sale :
I hate to put a 1 star for such a great organization but when I went in today, I had a very rude interaction, walked in with 10 mins until closing, plenty of time for me as I was on the hunt for some cotton for a sewing machine. Took one step in the door and was met with such a rude lady, got turned away even though I said that I was only after a small thing and wouldn't take me very long plus they were still open!! Quite upset but hey, at least the salvation army down the road let me in
I would like to thank Jayne and Liz for absolutely wonderful professional care this week. They were genuine, caring and calm. They made me feel relaxed, no rushing and very thorough. Thank you so much. You do a tough job and I appreciated your assistance. I am now feeling better thank you both.
The ladies were easy to spot with lanyards around their necks. If you are looking for something specific, like I was, ask them if they have what you are looking for. Though I found them really helpful, they unfortunately didn't have what I went for in the shop. They even rummaged through stuff out the back! I found the shop was tidy, well laid out with eye catching displays that nearly got me side tracked, had clean clothes, prices were easy to find and the shop was well lit. If you are in a wheelchair, this shop is one that you can enter and have a look through. Great to see St John have a second hand shop. Wayd to support St John are to buy stuff from them, volunteer in the shop or in preparing goods for sale in the shop, donate stuff, take out a subscription or give them a cash donation - it all goes to save lives and keep our ambulance service going.
Jam packed with goodies. Well priced. Vintage.
Only here for first aid training, wasn't expecting the Ritz or fancy University campus. Functional clean, and was quiet.
Good stuffs with good price. Value for money indeed truly amazed the arrangement by color and price very cheap.
Excellent course. Everybody should do this for CPR and some basic first aid info.
Went to Tai chi at the st John's rooms. Good venue.
I WOULD RIDE WITH THEM ANYTIME. FULL OF HUMOR MAKE A SICK MAN WELL AGAIN
