My go to Chinese Restaurant in Rotorua. It's centrally located and perfect after visiting the Polynesian Spa around the corner. The dumplings are so tasty, with lots of different flavours to try. You can have them boiled, steamed or pan-fried. The noodle dishes are also really good. Great value for money.
As I am an Asian, I would like to have Chinese food. Haven’t had Chinese food for a long time since my trip. To my surprise, the food here was great! It’s even better than some of the restaurants in my home town. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommended. :
I am neutral about this place, and below are my personal comments, based on my taste bud. Trying to find a place to have Chinese food, and we managed to Google this place with a rating of 4.5. We thought it will be very good, However, we were a bit disappointed with the food, cos I assume it will be real authentic. We ordered a soup, a and a toufu. The soup was a bit plain, and the spices used for the chicken taste more Indian flavour than Chinese. The toufu is good though. Having commented on the above, I must say their portion is generous for the price they are charging. The staff there are also friendly.
What a busy and very popular restaurant, and I totally understand why. Amazing dumplings, crispy skin duck rolls and deep fried squid. Fast friendly and efficient service. All beautifully prepared fresh, vibrant and delicious. Will happily coming back soon.
Fried Chicken dumplings were crispy, succulent and delicious, staff very friendly. Great experience here. Certainly will be returning.
Tiny container with high price $70 in total for two dishes in the pic, and we ordered according to the menu attached on google but been told price increased already when we pick up the food. Why didnt you notice the price increase when we place the order? Never come again.
