stopped at Rotorua on our drive down the island. the sleepy town had most things closed on the rainy Sunday we pulled in, but we saw the great reviews for the food in this place and wanted to skip the more tourist area on Eat Street. so happy we made it out here. the food was so very tasty, the noodles and dumplings were delicious. and the service was lovely! i love an out of the way food spot with people that truly care about the food they are serving. highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot to eat on your travels!
Fresh Noodle is definitely a hidden gem in Rotorua and in NZ in general. I expected good food, but didn't think I'd be pleasantly surprised by the simple yet delicious flavor. We had a beef noodle soup and chicken meatball noodle soup - both tasty! But the highlight was definitely the pan fried pork and veggie dumplings. I would return again just for those juicy dumplings! Also, big thanks to the delightful staff who was very friendly and accommodating! Keep up the lovely service and delicious food. I'll be back!
A hidden gem! I chanced upon it while walking along the streets but it was closed during that day. Came back to try their noodles and it exceeded expectations. Place was spacious and the lady that served us was super friendly. Noodles and dumplings are 5/5 - well made and flavour is great! If you like spicy or hate it, don't be afraid to tell the lady so that they can cook it to your liking. Will come back again if I am around the area.

Amazing tasty food at a good price and generous portion. Owner is also really warm and friendly, and the place has a calm atmosphere and aesthetic. They even had someone playing the piano while during my visit! Definitely a good place to eat although it might not be wheelchair accessible because of the stairs leading up to the restaurant.
A place that was recommended by our Rafting company in Rotorua. It's a simple place run by humble folks making delicious food. Everything is made in house and that just makes the difference in the flavors. I got the Vegan Noodles with broth along with the Chicken and Prawn dumplings. They were both simply delicious. The broth had the right amount of heat and the noodles the perfect texture. The dumplings were juicy and meat inside tender. Would recommend this place in a heart beat for your visit in Rotorua. Support this small, upcoming business. Vegetarian options: They have vegan noodles with veggies and broth.
Yummy homemade noodles My daughter loves to eat beef noodles in soup. The noodles are al dente, so they big enough for a man to share with an adult and kid. The fried dumpling tasty really good and was very juicy. I like the chill oil too. Recommend to the travellers and also the local.

This is like a hidden surprise restaurant in rotorua. Their foods are also surprising with a very tasty noodle. We will definitely recommend this, don't hesitate to go up the stairs. Thank you for the kind lady who served us.
Go for the mango juice, the pan-fried dumplings and the beef noodles!! Pork noodles were so good too the dumplings were crispy, the noodles were very satisfying and tasty, plus the owner of the shop was super friendly
