SPCA's Ashburton Centre opened its doors in August 2018 and shares its premises with the Ashburton District Council Pound. Our centre covers from the Rakaia River to the Rangitata, with Inspectorate cover coming from Christchurch.
"**Please note that adoptions are by appointment only**The Ashburton SPCA Centre opened its doors in August 2018 and shares its premises with the Ashburton District Council Pound.Currently we have one full-time staff member who is also the Area Manager for the West Coast and Rural Canterbury as well as two part-time staff members who look after the centre on the weekends.Our centre covers from the Rakaia River to the Rangitata, with Inspectorate cover coming from Christchurch.We have support from the Christchurch community engagement team for educational services in Ashburton."
