SouperVan New Zealand is a family run travelling soup kitchen headed by former executive Chef Ian Moone, serving the needs of some of New Zealand’s most at risk families and homeless. Ian, Anna and baby Blessing provide nutritious free food around the country as a 100% not for profit service incorporating 3 passions: Helping others, Cooking and Travel. SouperVan is a not for profit enterprise that prepares and cooks nutritional meals around the country with fresh produce focusing on making people feel special and linking people with local services whilst providing the meals. The culinary skills of former Executive Chef Ian Moone caters to a growing need providing meals to struggling families and homeless in some of our most hardest hit communities and streets.



The service is not only welcomed in the community but has won the support of The Most FM, Bunnings, Mt Albert Fruit and Veggies and the New Plymouth District Mayor Neil Holdom who along with The Most FM have write letters of support for SouperVan New Zealand.

The service along with catering to our less fortunate members in the community also has a disaster support service in the event of natural or man made disaster the service being mobile can provide meals to emergency services, the community and 1st responders around the country.



The SouperVan service is looking to further the services by purchasing a bus to offer showers to the homeless along with a host of other hygiene services like, haircuts for interviews, beard trims, clothing and cloths washing service. This service will also be on offer in the event of deserter offering much needed hygiene and food on location as needed.

The SouperVan team are 100% not for profit and serving the community full-time. This service is also 100% volunteer run.
