Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a consistent 1 to 1 adult relationship that's designed to assist children & young people to face their everyday challenges.
The exceptional success of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Taranaki belongs to the wider community, especially our volunteer mentors who support this great initiative. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Taranaki now employs six staff, and has over one hundred wonderful volunteers matched with over one hundred equally wonderful young people in Waitara, New Plymouth, Inglewood, Stratford and Hawera.
