Friendly helpful staff but sadly that's where it stops. Very disappointed ALL coffees including dine in served in takeaway cups. I would have thought a cafe that gets it's business due to being in a place of natural beauty would be more environmentally conscientious. Food was pretty average and a long time coming eggs on toast.
The pastries here are beautiful, they're comparable with the specialist French bakery in Nelson - definitely worth stopping in on your way through!
Great cafe spot, reasonable priced food. The bacon and egg bagel I got tasted fresh and was $11.5. Pretty good spot to stop, maybe one of the only cafes around for a bit too.nnNot sure what makes this cafe sneaky and couldn’t really see a beach from the cafe, but interesting name.
Lovely cafe, excellent food.nbut watch the coffee. The photo is of a medium flat white How they can call this a medium as beyond me it is tiny! and for $5 50, it is very expensive.
It was about 1-30 in the afternoon and I was both hungry and grumpy low blood sugar I think. Anyway there was the Sneaky Beach Café, and there was a parking space right outside. As soon as I got inside, the cheerfull waitress made me feel welcome. The cabinet food looked fresh and appetizing, plenty of healthy stuff. I was to hungry for that, I had the biggest stuffed sausage I have seen, yum. A great place, clean and bright, really attractive, give it a try. I'm sure I will be back.
