If you direct debit bounces once Sky then tell you the bank then canceled your direct debit. You call the bank and they say the direct debit is still in place. Next month you get another message from Sky to say you haven't paid when there is ample funds in the direct debit account. Then you have to spend hours calling Sky to try and sort it out. They should just text you that it has bounced, you make payment and the direct debit continues the following months as usual I am a 30 year client and am thinking it might be time to cancel Sky TV and Broadband as this has happened twice now and it is not good enough. Will just watch the ABs and Warriors at my neighbors. If you want to automate Sky make sure your systems and communication are functional. So angry am going to get my partner to call. One more time and I am out. Then will go to commerce commission, consumer and advise all review sites of our experience :
The concept of Sky TV is great and becoming a subscriber or adding to your subscription is very simple and easily done.nAnything else relating to removing channels or if you encounter hardware issues which need resolution is an exercise in absolute frustration and time wasting with Sky TV accepting no accountability for doing things wrong failing to book technicians, providing incorrect detail, not resolving issues, instead preferring to blame the customer or the technician. If you want to enhance your frustration ask for your concerns to be escalated, it seems that there is no such thing as an escalation pathway, just passing to another team who do not allow you to escalate to a more senior person.
Im with sky for their broadband and omg i wish I would do 0 stars, their absolutely terrible. Wifi constantly cutting out, increasing their package costs all the time and so expensive. Also I was all paid up on time with my bills and I get a statement saying im overdue which I then contacted online support eith photographic proof of my payments and I never recieved any sort of apology or acknowledgement that they messed up just that I had to wait 5 business days for the finance team to review it and try find my money......will definitely be switching providers
Horrendous service, do not under any circumstance get their subscription. This is a scam! We cancelled our over priced service and were told to wait for a parcel to return the device but were never sent one. Now they are trying to claim $250 dollars for not returning the device. When asked for an address to send the device at our own expense they have ignored us. Please use any other service!
Been experiencing problems no satellite signal for days. Having to reboot box to get back but lose scheduled recordings.nCall centre in Phillipines unable to schedule engineer until week on Friday, so not certain any scheduled recordings will work in interim.nOperator not helpful says our area is only covered one day per week! Seems their problem with limited Engineer cover becomes paying customer problem. Not impressed.
