Found this place on Google searching "best fish and chips in Hamilton" and I gotta say it does live up to the hype. + Super friendly staff that gets your order done really quick +Big selection of meal deals that varied and great value. + Online ordering was simple and straight forward with great options to tweak and personalize your order. + Personally the chips and burgers are . Even though we live across the other side of town this is our new go to for Saturday nights
From Chinese food to fish and chips, nobody goes as hard as SingDar on making it incredible. I’m Chinese, and Chinese people usually hate Chinese takeaways because something isn’t perfect, but honestly there is nothing to complain about here. That fish burger speaks for itself, no comment needed. JUST LOOK AT IT. Everything is perfectly crispy, seasoned and fresh, I have moved to this part of Hamilton for less than a week and have gone there three times!
Ordered a fish burger tonight. Burger buns was burnt. 6 pieces of shredded lettuce, hardly any sauce. Used to enjoy sing dar take aways , felt we wasted our money here.
Disappointed that we ordered the 26 dollar pack which now costs 28.00 Instead of 6 fish we got 5 Instead of 3 crabsticks we got 2 Instead of 3 sausages we got 2 Try dividing that between 3 adults a pre adult a teen and 2 pre teens. They need to update their packs.
Singdah used to be a hot spot for our family but lately it's been quite a disappointment!!! Tonight we order $100+ worth of food. In our order we ordered "Egg fried rice" what we got was fried rice with mixed vegetables without the egg!!! Their was not a bit of egg in site!!! It was very tasteless. I get the prices in food has gone up but that is not for us customers to suffer for we should get what we paid for period!!! Mussels cost $2.20 each so for 10 that comes upto $22.00 ten rubbery tasteless mussels. Huge disappointment and what i feel was a waste of our money. Please singdah it's not a good feeling to spend this much money to come homee to an unpleasant dinner not to mention a waste of money.
Delicious! We got snapper, sausages and chips with chicken salt and it was lovely! We live in Australia and whenever we are in NZ we ensure we come here and get a good bit of kiwi fish n chips!Recommended dishesChips, Seafood

Steak chow mein is amazing! Great customer service & even better food. Have been coming here since 2007 and I have never been disappointed. Consistent customer service and quality of food.
OUTSTANDING service and the GREATEST FISH and Chips we've ever had in our lives. Chips thinly cut with light crispy texture, less salt, and not oily. Fish light and crispy less salt and not oily. The batter is very well balanced. Everything looks and tastes fresh. SO very DELICIOUS! Peace and God Bless!
Best fish and chips in Hamilton far and wide. They make great burgers too. Really friendly staff! Best place to go for an easy picnic at the Hamilton Lake.
