Ming City

The octopus balls were very nice, pork and cabbage dumplings were okay, sort of bland and very garlicky when dipped into the sauce provided, wonton noodle soup and sweet and sour fish fillet was good. The serving sizes are decent. The experience was pleasant.

Apart from thinking the dumplings could be filled up a bit more still good though, this place is great. The soups here are honestly mouth watering! It is also an affordable place to eat.

We visited on Saturday 1pm but found that there was no customer at all. We walked in and couldn't find any staff. We found a table to sit down and got the manu ourselves. Then the staff came out to serve water. Its a mixture of Hong Kong BBQ, Korean, Taiwanese. The foods is yummy. The Food is yummy.

Ordered Dumpling with rice was really good but very spicy which i wasn’t aware of , make sure you ask how spicy the food is when you place your order.

They have the basic menu for chinese restaurant. Even if you come alone, you can still order food since the menu based on one person person.

Delicious hotpot stews, friendly staff, however would have gone for the same thing with same quality at a cheaper price elsewhere if it wasn't Chinese New Year when most other options were closed.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES - I’ve ordered 20 dumplings which the price on their Chinese menu is $16.9, however I’ve been charged $26.9 when I checked out. I’ve been told it’s because I’ve ordered two different minces. However, there was no indication of that on their Chinese menu, they didn’t remind me of the price difference when they encourage me to order 10 plus 10 rather than 20 in total. There is also price difference on other things as we paid more than we’ve read on their menu. Anyway, won’t go back again.

This is one of the best Restaurant in Hamilton. My mum and I always come here any chance we can. Best customer service, greeted always with a smile. been a main customer for years even from when they were based in Down Town Plaza. Guess where I'm going tonight : MING CITY. GOOD EATING.

Downgraded from 5 stars as the original review was for Ming City. Pretty cheap trick to change the name to the new place and ride on the coattails of the previous business' reviews. Original Review: You haven't lived until you have tried the Gravy Beef on Noodle. Seriously.

Great food. Really reasonably priced compared to other chinese food restuarants in Hamilton. My favourite dishes are spicy wonton, black pepper beef and the Chicken Fried rice. The wontons are fresh not frozen.
