This bakery was amazing. It had come highly recommended, and they weren't wrong. Always good when you see all the truckies and workmen calling in. It was busy! Lovely staff as well. Worth a visit if you are in Ashburton.
Always lovely food! Only reason the rating is low as they aren't open on Sunday and limited on Saturday, would be awesome for them to open on weekends as it would be awesome to get bits and pieces while travelling through :
We stop in here every time we pass thru for the gluten free muffins. None today thou so tried the bread and biscuits and all good
Impressed with the great bakery products here, conveniently located in Tinwald on SH1 with kerb side parking. I enjoyed a packet of Chelsea buns, there is a range of hot savoury and sweet baked treats available.
One of my most favorite bakeries, the pies/ sausage rolls are clean to eat no pastry falling everywhere or filling falling out of the seals, plus they are full of filling! The breads you can buy stays fresh for days and is definitely worth the stop on your way past.

Bought a Venison pie for $5.50. Wasn't the best. Pretty much the gravy tasted like a mince pie. Maybe red wine added would have added taste to the pie. Late I bought was good tho, so only 3 stars
Great pies and sandwiches! Our favourites is the Trucker's Pie and Pork Belly. Chilli Sausage Roll is a goodie too. Friendly ladies always delightful in the early morning.
