$6 for a cupcake is a little too much, but it was tasteless and the frosting over extremely sweet.nSecond time I’ve brought from here last time was a sandwich in glad wrapped, that they dropped on the ground, they laughed it off and sold it to me…. I’m not a strong person so couldn’t bring myself to not buy it both times over priced food, both times food went unfinished and into the bin.
Have just had the best banana caramel muffin and custard cream donut ever. Such a lovely cafe, friendly staff and great coffees. We will be back for sure.

There isint anything more iconic in Ashburtons food space than a pie from Harveys Bakehouse, highly recommend.nIf your passing through and want to try some of Mid-Canterburys heartwarming cuisine, why not grab something sweet while your at it like a cream bun, slice, fudge or donut. 5 Stars - Love your work!
We visited just prior to Christmas to get some quality bakery bread. Selection of bread was good, and ended up picking up a sponge cake for trifle, and chocolate gateu. Gateu we felt was good value, nicely made, and delicious.
