Shining Peak Brewing

Our preferred place for a special lunch over a dinner as we prefer the choice of small share plates over mains and it can get a bit noisy due to the large space when it's busy.nnA casual dining atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and accommodating with great food and beer!nnThere's a nice covered courtyard dining area, with live music/DJ on a Sunday.nnA good place to bring out of town visitors for the experience.

Awesome time at Shining peak. We did the beer taster to find our favourite beer, definitely worth the money paid.nnThe light snacks and shared meals were decent value for money.nnThe staff were great and welcoming.

My favourite pub in New Plymouth! The beer particularly the Pilsner is a good drop and they do some nice food to go with it. Get a spot next to the fire on a cold day. It is a brewery so has its own beer with knowledgeable waiting staff who are all very friendly and make you feel welcome, best of all you are contributing to the local community as they put a portion of the profit into the local area.

Incredible experience here. Started with amazing service throughout the night, you know it's good when you're having genuine conversations & taking the piss out of each other. Kai was delicious, favourite was definitely the pulled pork flatbreads & the carrots. Great choice of beers but cocktails were the highlight, balanced perfectly.

Beautiful local brewery. Great beers, lovely staff who work their butts off with a smile on their faces & always make you feel welcome, nice open space suitable for solo or groups, and great food as well.Thanks for being an awesome part of the community. A must-visit if you like beer and in NP!
