I love the sandwich bread at the bakery but for awhile now it seems they rob Peter to pay Paul so if some café does forget to order they take the bread from the bakery which is for customers like me and you get fed up going there and they have no sandwich bread so I was going to give up going there and Carleen the lady that works there said I'll take your name and ring you tomorrow, I thought okay and ordered 2 loaves cut thick, I have a large freezer and I put portions in there and pull out what I want daily. Around 9.00am I got the call from Carleen and sure enough I had my order and restored my faith in the place and I will be back. To the owner remember you have other customers not just Cafes etc so please look after us. Thank you, Ron

This is one of the best bakery I have ever tried in Wellington.nnMy partner and I love to go there and try new breads. Sandwiches are also very fresh and yum, which is really good for my partner’s lunch box or weekend brunch.nnStaffs are very friendly, helpful and I do like this local bakery nearby my home. Highly recommended! I wanna try all different breads someday.nnVery happy I found such a nice and lovely place I can get fresh breads.nTo be honest, I don’t enjoy bread a lot or everyday, but this place is exceptional and I love Shelly bay baker’s breads.nnThanks Shelly bay baker! ;
Always friendly service from the team. The bakery in Miramar offers fresh bread, coffees and sandwiches to go, as well as other local produce like eggs, glass bottle milk and avocados. My local go-to for these supplies! Worth a trip from the city, or you can also visit their cafe on Leeds Street in the CBD.
FYI the fruit bread has changed a teensy bit, looks a little lighter in colour, lighter in weight & not as gooey fruity? I still buy it whenever & wherever I can, Commonsense Organics Wellington & Hutt, & Moore Wilsons. My family & I still enjoy it. Just fyi only
