So delicious and so cute!! The avocado toast was incredible, and the waffle was gorgeous. All their pastries are so fresh and delicious, and the coffee was soooo good. My oat latte was so yummy. The inside was so cute, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Our service was pretty slow, but it made since given that it was the Saturday after Christmas, and was very busy.
Very good breakfast or brunch option in Wanaka. Would recommend the pancake with chorizo and Turkish eggs - very delicious. I went back again and tried other dishes and wished I had reordered the pancake!nCoffee was very good.nCan get very busy so a bit of waiting time but nothing too unreasonable.nI’m happy I tried Scroggin Coffee and would definitely recommend you go there for a nice breakfast if you’re in Wanaka
Sooo good but super pricey! The eggs benedict was really delicious, but expensive and a very small portion. The butterscotch hot chocolate was decadent and not too sweet, it was just right with the fluffy marshmallows. And the savory pancake had a lovely balance of flavors combining sweet and salty. We liked the croissant loaf too. Will have to save going there for more special occasions otherwise we'll break the bank
Some of the best coffee in Wanaka! I don’t say that lightly, I have tried coffee from everywhere in town and scroggin is consistently fantastic, and reliable. Love the blueberry scones too. It can be very busy though, and the outdoor speakers often give off this irritating high pitched sound.. would love if this was addressed :/nEverything is definitely on the expensive side, even for Wanaka.
After a tough hike first timers! up Mount Iron, we drove to Scroggins which is just under 2km ~3 mins drive.nnOrdered:n: one hander sausage with scrambled eggsn: Lamb toast, caramelised onion, feta, rocket on sourdoughn: Turkish eggs - Harissa Labneh, aubergine hummus, crispy brown lentils, amba sauce, chilli butter, two poached eggs, fresh italian parsley, housemade sourdoughnnEverything was SO GOOD. It taste even better and rewarding after that hike Highly recommended ! We sat outdoors to take advantage of the amazing weather and partial Mountain View. Bonus was 2 sitting beside us
