Lovely situation in Blenheim. Parking available at the hotel.nComfy bed, super shower, nice clean room with good aircon. Mini bar with everything you could want.nCheckin was a little slow as the gentleman couldn't see our reservation, fortunately his colleague said it was there as she passed by!nLovely Kate was both pleasant and very hard working at breakfast.Kate was doing the work for two. Good choice on the buffet breakfast. The hotel/kitchen need to consider replenishing the buffet and staffing if they are to take in additional tours, which was the cause .We didn't have a deadline to meet that day, thankfully. Reception, apologies, I didn't get the ladies name, and management, made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed which was appreciated. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. Lovely, quiet location beside Seymour Square.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious with all amenities. Would definitely recommend to others even though we only had one night there.
Had a one-night stay in room 311. When I entered the room there was a very loud humming noise, but after speaking to reception they were quick to send someone up. They explained it was the roof exhausts running between 9am and 9pm and kindly offered to turn them off manually, which immediately resolved the issue. I really appreciated how quickly this was handled.nnThe room itself was comfortable, although the pillows were quite lumpy and could do with an update
Great location for a hotel in the heart of Blenheim, with easy walking access into the town.nStaff all efficient and helpful. Room was comfortable and standard in equipment.nAccess to a good laundry area was appreciated as travelling tourists - quick and effective machines.nParking is limited but overflow available in church car-park opposite and needed.nSmall pool and subbed area but limited privacy. Spa facilities and main restaurant not tested.
Checkin was complete chaos with the rooms not ready on time and the reception manager out of his depth. And seemingly faxed by the whole experience.nnBUT, the rooms was relatively large, good shower in a small-ish bathroom. Swimming pool was good.nnEasy walk into the centre where there dozens of places to eatnnGood walk along the river
