The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean, incredible showers, comfortable beds and the added benefit of having a small fridge, a work desk and seating in the room.nnIt was the perfect accommodation for a long weekend away with friends. Great breakfast on offer and dinner although we ate out, really nice bar area we had planned to utilize but ran out of time. We are already planning a return visit but with 6 couples next time. It's an easy drive from Nelson, the perfect 'weekend away' venue.nnThe staff were all very friendly and accommodating to the point where my husband left a tip ... something I've never heard of him doing before!nnCouldn't recommend the Scenic Hotel in Blenheim higher. With a swimming pool and spa on offer, bring the mountain bike and enjoy the facilities after a day on the tracks.
Clean, tidy, comfortable, pleasantly warm room. Easy to use with helpful accessories and service kept the room fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful too, happy and willing to assist.nFood in the hotel restaurant was of good quality and the dining room was continuously and effectively kept clean.nThe position of the building was useful: enabling easy access to the shops and town centre on foot.nA great place to stay
Hotel is dated but really pleasant. You can book the pool / sauna / hot tub to use which is nice. Very bizarre service, the man on reception seemed confused at everything we said and couldn’t understand if we were able to check in despite it being past check in time. Great location to be picked up for a wine tour though!
Fabulous room. Very comfortable with a beautiful roomy shower.nLoved being rewarded for booking directly and enjoyed the scrumptious food in the dining room.nWas a bit sad I was only staying one night.
I stopped on the way from Nelson to Kaikora.nPerfect place mid way.nEverything was superb.nClean and tidy room, smiling and helpful staff and good food at the hotel restaurant.
