Very Pleased!!nReceptionist Jess was very accomodating and so helpful. The Nurse Linda I was referred too was very knowledgeable and helped me get sorted and get back to work.nFair charge for the appt, and wait time was very short I believe I was seen before my scheduled appt time.nThanks for the efforts team.
Made an appointment staff were very helpful saw a fantastic Dr straight away. Couldn’t fault them
This was my family childhood doctors and it definitely went downhill over the years. Reception incredibly rude, appointments hard to get, doctors not up to standard. Multiple bad experiences where my medical concerns were dismissed and mistakes were made. Have since changed medical centres to a much better centre.nnEdit: I have family still at the centre and no it definitely has not improved. Do you think it’s appropriate to cancel appointments that have been booked well in advance last minute, and force someone on medication for their mental health and heart to get back to back 2-week emergency scripts while they wait to be seen by a doctor, only to then be charged for emergency scripts when it was the practice who canceled the appointment?! My family member was also turned away in an URGENT medical situation and told to go elsewhere. All medical centres should have emergency appointments available, not every matter can be booked a month in advance.
You guys are do such a good job my hat off to Isla Jess and boo keep up the good work
Had a doctor's appointment yesterday on the 11th April 2024 and reported to reception on arrival. After waiting an hour I went back to reception and asked if I was going to be seen today. Receptionist that I reported to on arrival then asked me if I had reported earlier on arrival, which I said that I had and the time that I had arrived before my appointment time. She left the reception desk for about 5 minutes to find out what was going on and came back and said that it would be about another 10 minutes and asked if was I willing to wait, which I said I would. After waiting 20 minutes I asked whether it would be much longer that I would have to wait and was told that the doctor still had a patient and it shouldn't be much longer. My 10 minute wait ended up being 45 minutes, so I ended up waiting 1 hour 45 minutes in total. I did get an apology but feel that being told by the receptionist that I reported to initially, that I shouldn't have left it that long to let her know that I waiting, wasn't particularly helpful and didn't change the waiting situation and it really isn't good enough!nnIf I could give zero star's to Saddleview Health Centre I would.nThree months after I posted my original review in April, I left a message on the prescription line for a repeat on my prescriptions.nTo my shock and horror they obviously hadn't listened to my instructions and sent the prescriptions to another pharmacy, where I would've had to pay prescription charges.nI informed the Practice Manager of this error by email and asked for my prescriptions to be sent to the correct pharmacy, as I wasn't going to pay to pick them up.nI wasn't impressed to receive a phone call from the correct pharmacy later the same day, telling me that they couldn't fill my script's because they had already been filled at a different pharmacy, and that I would have to contact them to cancel them, so that they could fill them for me.nNot only did Saddleview Health Centre staff send my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, they also neglected to inform the wrong pharmacy of the error that THEY HAD MADE and cancel the prescriptions, so that the correct pharmacy could fill them.nIt shouldn't have to be up to the patients to fix their cock ups for them.nNeedless to say, I am totally fed up with the incompetence of Saddleview Health Centre, so won't be going back and will be enrolling at another Medical Practice.
