Pregnancy of my child was easy, as the staff were very friendly and helpful and confident.nnWe had some communication and we had to stay for 6 days in total but it went well in the end.nnHighly recommended.
My wife just had our second baby via c-section. All of the doctors, surgeons, anaesthesiologists and midwives were great. Unfortunately only 90% of of the nurses were great. One senior nurse was belittled my wife's pain and critisied her so much for seeking help that she didn't want to ring the bell again. Awful woman with 0/10 bedside manner.
Worst experience, Went to ED last night from Balclutha for our 1 year old son, wait there for 6 hours, no doctor there, Another thing they don't have room for patient they let us in the stay with same ward where covid positive patients were waiting. Honestly it was my first time to go Dunedin ED going and it is the worst experience of my life.
this review is about oliver rayner this person is the worst puts you down mocks you trys his best to discharge you from a rehab centre for neurological problems when youve been in there for just a few hours and waited months to get in..this person does not want to help you just vocalises and insinuates doubt that you dont want to be staying in hospital when i was there to get better and then he says he needs to get you out of here asap when i had a confirmed 2 week stay.. someone else that should not be working in the health system..
Crap experience, & not being fully informed, as of my patient rights, being taken to a different ward & floor after my mri scan to where I was told I would be going before my mri scan, & not being told I was in a different floor & ward the whole time I was there, & after leaving & realizing I had been placed in a surgical ward when I wasn't going to be having surgery, & no-one will tell me why I was taken there instead of the bed that had been booked in the day surgery unit for me to recover from sedation after the mri as I had no-one to go home with me after the mri, zi wasn't offered any food or water at all not even 6 hours after being on this surgical ward on 3rd floor, despite asking, ended up leaving really confused & wondering what was going on when they wanted me to stay overnight but with no necessary reason strong enough to warrant that at all, bloody bullshit breach of my right to be fully informed before leaving the mri suite, after being taken up to the ward3c, & days & weeks after numerous times ringing & asking why this ward change etc happened, but no-one will give me an answer, so any future treatment or scans are off, my trust I gone.
