The team in Dunedin Hospital do an amazing job given the state of the current health context.nnTeam in both coffee shops cheerful and kind. I took a rest on a seat and found this plaque which deserves to be shared. May he rest in peace.
This review has to be the worst review I will ever wright upon any goggle site, the vehicle in the photos of this review belongs to this man! this man has been left in such a place of disarray from the ABUSE that this Hospital has embarked upon him!.nThe nurses of this Hospital asked this man to support them and He cannot beleave how demoralizing they have left him. This vehicles and all its integrity is contributed by three things!nnGastroenterology department & DRs Steven Johnson and Reina Lim.nnI sincerely hope the Hospital and all the nurses and these doctors Realizes the sever damages they have inflicted upon this lovely young man.nnAwful community full of bullying Hatered and abuse and violence, nnand the continued threats from hospital staff Alike do not scare me instead just adds more paperwork and evidence of this behavior.nngenuine and fully legal review based on my Highest Fates experiences from the Dunedin hospital
One of the best hospitals that I have experienced. The staff were very procedurally experienced. The doctors were very prepared and I must admit professional. They explained my predicament to me in detail and even considered my attitude to operational procedures. At first I was somewhat shocked, however I soon realised that they must know what was best for me. Giving the green light lightened their load as well as mine. The hospital beds were of an advanced nature I only mention this because I spent most of my time lying down in emergency and post operation. The food was okay, nothing to write home about actually I ate everything I was given. As for fellow patients it is best I do not comment. There were some staff members who stood out in my mind especially on reflection. Two doctors in particular who went out of their way to to explain the situation to me. And also other doctors that treated me after the operation. I find medical staff have a very pleasant approach to intelligence and often see a sense of humour in the most dire situations. All being equal it was no laughing matter however I really do appreciate whatever they did for me. I must mention the special nurse fully qualified who maintained a close watch over me. Often too close that drove me into feelings that I have never experienced before. Frustration, anxiety, remorse and a feeling of much pain helped me recover. Thank you Dunedin Public Hospital. No regrets. Thomas Stevens.
I have lived in Dunedin my whole life and can easily say Dunedin Hospital and their ED staff have got to be the most useless in our country. I avoided coming in earlier with very bad chest pains only to be turned away by my own GP & told to come here. Have been sitting here for over 7 hours while they see sprains.nThe poor women in front of me just fainted and is pregnant, she was here before me and the admin staff which appear to out number the medical staff told me to calm down when I cried out for help. Thank goodness for the police officer who put her in her place.nAbsolutely disgusting and complete disgrace to the medical profession. Why build a new hospital when you can't get good staff to work in it.nOne another note almost lost my life giving birth here 5 years ago due to a hernia & bowel obstruction actually caused by incompetent staff. If this gives any context to my fear and rationalization for this review.nDo better!!!
Two weeks ago I was on a cruise to New Zealand. I had had a procedure done prior to leaving Australia and it became infected on the seas. I was hanging to get to Dunedin to get assistance. The staff were just such lovely helpful people right from the moment I arrived to my departure.nI was taken care of so professionally by everyone, things were done so I could get back on the ship by days end. A specialist was called, she was just wonderful.nAll in all the very best experience in an emergency in my life. I've had a few.nThankyou to everyone, you are a shining beacon to others with your professionalism and empathetic care.nI wish you all the very best for the future. Again THANK YOU.
