Awsome day today for the Te kotuku cultural festival can't wait for the next one.
Very warm and friendly place, feeling like a reunion with whanau.
Safe place, use of masks outside - very, very good, appointment held outside, on time - no waiting, water bottle supplied to drink, very, very helpful with WINZ & Kiwibank who had been very problenatic. Mauri ora ki a koutou katoa nga kaimahi no Ruapotaka Marae
Place of belonging for urban Maori. No matter where you come from. If you live and work in Tamaki Makaurau, stop in and see what the whanau are doing. Lots of things happening all the time. Good place to hold hui, learn Te Reo and connect with your community
I attended at Tangi at the Marae recently during Covid Level 2 and it was so well organized and managed safely for the whanau pani.
Like many marae it has the necessary facilities. It is filled with love, stories and songs. Marae provide a service for weddings, meetings of many kinds and funerals as well. This marae is located behind the GI library.
Fantastic experience!! I went with my Te Wananga O Aotearoa Class for the day, truly a wonderfully welcoming, eye-opening day. Highly recommended :D
It's a beautiful place for the community to have all types of their functions. Hats off to Ruapotaka marai.
I needed abit of help there and I got everything I wanted and more. Lovely people there.
