Royal Reserve Playground

One of the best park for kids. Beautiful place..

This is a great playground with lots to offer and brand spanking new equipment. It features both small kid areas and bigger kid areas with varying complexities in structures, has a pump track for scooters, a gigantic slide, sand pit, BBQ areas and a basketball hoop. The playground itself also backs onto Royal Reserve, when not in use, is a very nice field to be playing on. Toilets are also close by, and plenty of free car parking available.

Can't fault it. Except to say that there were a couple of unleashed dogs. The play apparatus is well designed, sturdy and a credit to the designers and builders. Prepay barbecues, several tables and benches with protective covers against rain/sun.

Fantastic playground which keeps children entertained for ages! My son spent lots of time in the sandpit which is covered by a shade sail, woohoo and just loved going from area to area exploring his little heart out. Awesome stuff for all ages, the climbing tower is so varied and exciting for them.nnThe big slide was amazing and great to see it’s also covered from the sun, the kids loved it though best for ages 6+ I reckon!

Another great playground find. Entrance to the grounds are on a side street off a main road. Good selection of car parking available - dedicated parks for accessible requirements and some for family pram parking. I wonder on a busy day if this is enough ?... Two playgrounds side by side - one for older and the other for younger kids. A basketball court also included in the area as well as BBQs. What I really liked about this playground is how they've incorporated a bike track. One of the first playgrounds I've seen this - and love it. Would love to see more trees around to provide some extra shade and reprive. But otherwise a great find for the locals
