My husband and I celebrated our second anniversary in New Zealand at Roquette Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable evening. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed, and the ambiance was simply perfect— elegant and inviting. Baro was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring every detail was taken care of.nnEach course was a delight, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chef's creativity truly shines through in every dish, and it’s evident that high-quality, fresh ingredients are a priority here. We especially enjoyed the baked fish, which was truly a highlight of the evening. Wow! Best salmon I have ever had!!!! Husband raved about the eye fillet. The presentation of the food was so beautiful. Can’t wait for another special occasion to come again. We came all the way from Tauranga. They even cater for kids with a kids menu. Baru’s service was wonderful and he paid attention to detail. 5 stars!
I recommend going with friends and each getting a different 3 course meal to get a full experience. Each dish is a must try. Great service from our waiter, Baru. Passion fruit mock tail for the beverage.
Second time going and again was blown away by the delicious food and amazing service. Our dinner was for the anniversary of our Mum passing and well it was a divine way to end the day. No long waits. The food was delicious and fulling. The service was excellent and they had the best cocktails to go with.
