Rotorua Lapidary Rock & Mineral Supplies Ltd (Trading as Rock & Gemstone Shop) was founded by Colin Simmons in 1981 - Colin began collecting rocks and minerals at the age of 8yrs; he has explored many of the well known (and not so well known) collecting areas throughout New Zealand and overseas, and has a vast knowledge of rocks and minerals and their geological make-up. Colin has cut, polished & tumble polished stones for many years, perfecting excellent results. We have the New Zealand agency for Lortone cutting and polishing equipment and tumblers, and have a huge inventory of machinery related products for both the professional person and the hobbiest. We also stock a huge variety of products including NZ Greenstone Pendants, rocks, minerals, gemstones, crystals, stone gift lines and jewellery and jewellery componentry. We also have New Age products such as Chakra jewellery and healing kits, white sage and white sage incense.
