Very enjoyable stay. Will certainly be back. I travel with an elderly cat who adapted well to his new surroundings. Great for my peace. Beautiful setting right next to the water. Lovely staff.
Our family spent an enjoyable few days at Riverside Holiday Park recently. It was an easy distance from Auckland for a weekend get away.nFrom initial inquiries to reception I was impressed with the friendly and helpful manner from Greer and Simon and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival.nThe park is well maintained and the range of facilities was good and very clean. The estuary provided hours of entertainment and fun for the kids both at high and low tide. There were a number of dogs within the camp but all well controlled and on a leash at all times.nOur family is keen to stay again in the future.
We were there 4 night in camper. Amenities very clean, tidy. Staff real friendly. Nice location but being up estuary half the day you're looking at mud flats. The cabins look gr8 but suspect a lot of them are for permanents. Would imagine it would be chocker in summer. We'll be going back.
Epic little Auckland get away weekend. We stayed on a non powered site in our van which is so picturesque and just loved how they have picnic tables at each site. Great facilities so clean, very generous with shower time token and space for showering. Our dogs loved it too, especially zooming in the back paddock! Will be back for sure!
Both I and my 12 year old son have had a fantastic time at this park. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The park has great, clean facility's. Our camp sites have been awesome. Heaps of room even when there is a lot of people here. The water is right next to you, it is warm and inviting. The games room is free and with fun games to play. There was a kids bingo run by the social club at the park which both my son and I really enjoyed . The ladies running it were fun and ran a great game for all of the kids.nnI highly recommend this park for camping. 10 out of 10. Thank you riverside holiday park. We will be back for sure.
