Beautiful place, wonderful ambiance. Even though there were many customers, the staff was able to maintain their warm service. I really liked the mocha dark chocolate. That's why we bought a lot of chocolates after the meal to bring back to Shanghai as gifts.
We drove through to Bennet's on a Sunday morning to enjoy a lovely brunch and we were not disappointed. The attached cafe serves great coffee and tasty food from their cabinet or menu. Like most, I will also say that they are a little pricey, but it seems the norm for most places these days.nnThe real star of the show is their chocolate shop. Their handmade chocolates are made on-site and you can see the factory floor as well! I'm a bit of a self-professed chocolate connoisseur and believe me when I say their chocolates are flipping incredible. Very, very good indeed.nnOverall, Bennet's is awesome. Lots of parking and a beautiful setting. You can have good food and top it off with world-class chocolates. What more could you want?
This place is really good. The chocolates were delicious and the shop looked really nice. Could be cheaper but understandable from a small business.
Plenty to choose from for chocolate lovers. Great architecture and ambience with a French vibe. This could be a destination! However, the little Cafe was a let down, which is a pity, since it could be a great restaurant... But then again, most restaurants or cafes in Mangawhai village are pretty mediocre, if they're open at all. Hard to believe when it's the busy summer season...!
LOVE this place, the architecture is stunning and the food is great too. Was in awe when I stepped into the chocolate shop, they are very skilled and clearly enjoy what they do.nI saw a previous review saying they couldn’t stop dreaming about this place, I will be doing the same thing for sure!nI highly recommend the surf shop upstairs too, super friendly people and great quality items :
