This place is really good. The chocolates were delicious and the shop looked really nice. Could be cheaper but understandable from a small business.
A really lovely place to have a meal or coffee with a wide variety to choose from and great staff. Generous portions for the price too. The chocolates are delicious and well worth the money spent. Love the Feijoa smoothie
Plenty to choose from for chocolate lovers. Great architecture and ambience with a French vibe. This could be a destination! However, the little Cafe was a let down, which is a pity, since it could be a great restaurant... But then again, most restaurants or cafes in Mangawhai village are pretty mediocre, if they're open at all. Hard to believe when it's the busy summer season...!
Such a cool place! We decided to briefly pop in after brunch and I’m so glad we did although I wish we had come for brunch here as the food at the cafe outside looked fab and such a nice vibe! Ah well, always next time!nThe chocolate shop itself is really cool - you can see them making the chocolates at the back and there were heaps of different options to buy. Only let down was the woman serving who was seriously giving off unfriendly vibes - I asked to sample both of the jars of spreads they had taster jars and the honestly you’d think I’d committed a cardinal sin. But I’m glad I did as they were both to die for and so we bought both!nThey also do really cool melted chocolate shots which was delicious and only $2.50! How fun! As it was Easter they had heaps of Easter themed stuff which we also boughtnWhat a cool place, will be back!
LOVE this place, the architecture is stunning and the food is great too. Was in awe when I stepped into the chocolate shop, they are very skilled and clearly enjoy what they do.nI saw a previous review saying they couldn’t stop dreaming about this place, I will be doing the same thing for sure!nI highly recommend the surf shop upstairs too, super friendly people and great quality items :
