Staff were friendly. Didn't have the rear engine mount I needed so they had delivered to store next day, great but wrong part even though they used my license plate in their system. Right part was delivered to store next day. Overall good service, when you only have 28 days to fix vehicle for a wof recheck time matters.nI only went here as they said they had the part, always more expensive here.
I hadn't been into the store for a long time and went in today at 1600. I grabbed what I needed and went to a counter I was told by a young female staff member that I was at the trade counter and I needed to go over to the other one, she then rolled her eyes and turned away to chat to another staff member. Great customer service! Now I know why I don't normally shop at Repco. The guy who served me was very good. The other staffnjust stood around looking bored. I suggest some customer service training.
Excellent service from a kind Gentleman, named Gus. Thank you so much for helping me find the right, wiper blades and even put them in for me. Service likes this is absolutely Outstanding Highly recommend Gus.
Don’t buy your snow chains with repco!!nnWe had a near death experience. On the advice of an employee at Repco, we bought snow chains for our Toyota Hiace. The chains break after just 10 minutes of driving up Mount Lyford. The chains were tight around the wheels, this was also checked after a short drive. We stood with our car next to a steep precipice, which then slid further towards the precipice. We were terrified!!!! After a while someone came who was the manager of the ski slope. He got the van turned but then the car quickly moved further down because of all the snow/ice. It was that the ice below melted for a bit otherwise we don't know how this would have ended.nThe biggest joke was that we went back to the store to return the chains and they told us there was nothing wrong with the chains and waved us away to go up the mountain, which was completely irresponsible!!! We even spoke to the regional manager who told us that we return the chains because we would no longer need them and that we could get our money back! What a crazy person for this to be your first thoughts!!!
I came to this store once to buy a product that I thought would work better than that of their competitors. I waited in a queue and when it was my turn, was told to go to another counter which I did. At the other counter, the staff just chatted with someone there they were chatting since I entered store without acknowledging I was even there. Then they just left and went down the isles without acknowledging i was there. I quietly placed the item I was going to buy back and left. Thought about writing a review but gave them the benefit of doubt.nnToday I asked my wife to do a pickup for me from the same store in Hornby. She arrived from work and apparently staff could not find one of the orders. Staff told my wife that they must have credited the order. They said this even after being shown the sms that the order was ready for pickup. To be fair, a more experienced staff said that the one serving needed more training but then again they were shown the sms for pickup.nnRepco has many good products however, I simply use their competitors because they have much better staff and service. Still I do come back to repco from time to time since they have some range of products that are unavailable from their counter parts. This being said, I will not be returning back to their Hornby store which is nearest to me.
