Refuel cafe

Just had by far the worst experience in my cafe history. Playing on her phone while taking my order, mocha was the worst I've had, I asked for bacon and didn't get it, assumed I liked eggs poached, it was totally disgraceful in every possible way. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! IF YOU DO, YOU WERE WARNED!!! The old owners were brilliant.

Hi found this lovely little place well located. The food was fresh and lovely. The service was friendly. Oh and the coffee was delicious, Mojo blended. Will be back again.

A friendly wee cafe with good coffee, really tasty food and yum Italian gelato ice cream. Both Indoor and outdoor seating right on the corner of the street.

Been a wonderful experience. Amazing vibe and delicious food. Vipul even made up a dish for us which was not a part of his menu. Kudos!!!

We tried this place in hope of a quality yummy Sunday brunch. Unfortunately we were utterly disappointed... What we received from the kitchen was well below an acceptable standard. I ordered the pancakes.. Now I am someone who loves to watch my food being made but what I saw was nothing of the sort. They took the premade pancakes straight of the plastic supermarket packaging. This then went into the microwave just to warm it and then they jazzed it up by putting some decorations on. There was absolutely no cooking at all. We also ordered the large breakfast which didn't even have the same ingredients as what was advertised. The bread was blatantly from the supermarket and was old and floury... Possibly mouldy. I really dislike writing these types of reviews but I really hope that maybe this feedback will help improve the food they serve. If you want to run a cafe and have repeat business you need to serve food that is of quality or you will lose all your customers.

Amazing food. We stumbled across this cafe as it is out of the Onehunga Mall township. All I can say is "what a gem of a place". The food was incredible and reasonably priced. Also I had a green juice and my daughter had a smoothie both were delicious. I would highly recommend Refuel Cafe :

Under new management. Staff very friendly & welcoming. We had coffees & the vegetarian pizza. It was delicious, tasty with a great thin crust. Wld be great if they can get some interesting stuff on the rest of the menu, not the same stuff everyone else has. Well worth a visit.

I have been a regular visitor to Refuel for several years now. The previous owner/chef had set up a good menu and some of that has been able to continue when ownership changed about a year ago. Although not what it was at the peak previously, the young lady running the kitchen and coffee on behalf of the new owners is consistent and organised and continues to cook my favourite meal each time, and I keep going back.

A sign stating 'under new management' provided some confidence but alas this place isn't any better. The 4 tables outside all needed clearing and no the weren't busy. The server had zip personality, our coffee was luke warm, they gave us wooden teaspoons cheap & nasty , there was no sugar on the table. Excavating the cold muffin from its packaging proved a challenge. Pick it up new management !

Not sure if it was just because it's Christmas holidays but the kitchen looked dirty and cluttered; dishes all over the tables and servers walking by and not clearing them; and then when I got my spinach and feta muffin there was old crumbs on the plate/cutting board from another persons food. Servers were not friendly and would just put your order on the table but not in front of a person just dropped on the table. Coffee was good. Muffin was good but couldn't get past the fact that it was probably not washed from the previous person or persons.
