My local club...located in west auckland redwood Is a gem of a club. Easy to find and with plenty of parking. They have excellent warm up facilities. With 3 nets, a practice fairway and bunker just off the car park. There is also a very well maintained putting green to get the feel of the greens whilst waiting to tee off the 1st. Staff here are very welcoming always happy to help. The course itself is a mix of challenging holes with a splashing of scoring opportunities, there's something here for all abilities which keeps you engaged. That is if you can take your eyes off the stunning forest views. They have however really struggled the past few months with flooding and the course fairways do need a good dry out. But they are still very good in most parts. The greens are in fantastic shape however and I'm amazed at how considering parts of the course were under several feet of floodwaters at times! In a normal summer this course will be amazing! Membership is reasonably priced and having played with a few it's easy to understand why they stay members for decades. Changing rooms and clubhouse are modern with a lovely feel to them the 19th hole is a pleasure I'd recommend taking a sober driver with you

Used to play here a lot but now they have almost doubled their green fees  can play at Muriwai for cheaper as an affiliate. Sad.

Course was hard to play! Alot of bush and drains. But very enjoyable and the greens were pretty good considering we have not had any rain for a while. Only complaint's were the group that teed off 4 groups in front of us very slow. The problem was I could not see many of the 180  135 and 90 meter markers but other than that it was all good.

I'm disgusted with any sports club particularly a golf club that chooses to discriminate against its members or guests. Particularly for a health reason, this is against the Bill of Human Rights and the club should pay a hefty price for doing so. I know I will never use their facilities again.

One of my favourite golf courses - reasonably priced and the pace of play was fair considering how many people were on the course. Very friendly pro shop staff and the bar people staff were friendly.

An excellent course, condition is great in the autumn and the layout is fairly challenging, much more than what I have expected. Accuracy and length off the tee are equally necessary to own this course off the blue tee, varieties of terrains and tricky greens to hold. Fairways are fairly wide in long par 4s and par5s. Overall this is one of the great courses in Auckland, surely makes me going back more.
