About

REAL Steps Trust is the social services arm of Christchurch North Elim Church in Belfast, Christchurch. We are a needs based organisation and exist to provide courses which promote positive change and growth in individuals, families and communities.

Story

Currently we are running our Post Quake Workshops - Emotional Recovery which address issues like adjusting to change, fear and anxiety, and ongoing stress as a result of the earthquakes affecting those of us living in the Canterbury area.

Workshops begin with an informative presentation, a light supper then break off into smaller discussion groups. We have run a number of these last year which have been well received as they emphasize emotional recovery through practical information and supportive care.

As we have recently received funding, we are able to offer our workshops free of charge however donations are gratefully received.
