Beautiful. A little swampy. No guard rails or fence around the water. But really lovely, with a good variety of flora and fauna. I love it here. There's also a cat that I see nearly every time I'm there. Ducklings.
Very well organised Gardens in Nelson town centre on Bridge street. Small but very beautiful. Many native plants, flowers etc in town centre, on the walking and cycling trail path to the river stream. Cafe on site is great too.
Hands down the most beautiful part of Invercargill. If you’re in town, you MUST set aside a few hours to explore the park.nnThere’s something for everyone: rose gardens, animal enclosures, playgrounds, rock gardens, a disc golf course, and more.nnSuper walkable from the centre of town, and fantastic walkways criss-cross the park itself.
We found an injured Tui being attacked by the local cat. I couldn’t help but holding the Tui to protect from the mischievous cat. Luckily the local people came to checkout what was happening. I just passed the injured Tui to them hopefully the young bird looked after them. I appreciate their kindness.
A hidden gem nestled within Nelson's urban landscape. Worth a visit. Perfect for leisure stroll or a pinic. Free parking
