My favourite Saagwala with gently cooked chicken was masterfully executed by Punjab Grill in New Plymouth accompanied by a smile from charming Sharan. This is one of the healthiest dishes in Northern Indian cuisine. Fresh spinach adds colour and body to the dish. Combination of spices create aromatic profile, my favourite touch - fresh grated ginger on top. My starter was tandoori prawns that disappeared before the photo session started. :
Fresh food from the wonderful Punjab Grill is healthy and bright. Tasty ethnic food served with a smile. The prices are great. The menu is great and my favourite starter is yummy Tikka Prawns and my favourite main is the delicious Saagwala prawns. Thank you Punjab Grill for the friendly hospitality.
The food was delicious. Incredibly generous portions and presented so nicely. Would definitely eat there again.
Amazing food their service is top notch. Curries were authentic and delicious and the naan breads were cooked properly in the tandoor highly recommend this place for anyone who loves authentic Indian food. Even their starters and tandoori grill kebabs were very yummy. Overall highly recommended.
Staff is polite and helpful , but food was not at that level of authentic Indian taste ..still it was not bad, just alright ...!!!
Beautiful food that isn't isn't smothered with oil and sugar - because they don't have to - they use good quality ingredients and understand how to use spices properly to deliver a quality top class Indian dish. I really rate this place and will certainly be back! Recommended ++
Very poor customer service and very poor hygiene. We went there for dine in and we ordered food. We were sitting there for 10 minutes and manager came and said, Move from this table as this is reserved. There was no reserve sign. He said because you are five people so move. He was very impolite. We moved and sat on another table he showed to us. While waiting for the food we were looking at tissues and found that tissues on that table were not clean. They were stained with curry. We called the manager and he didn’t come. Finally we started waiting for food which came very very late and when we get it we found our garlic nan covered with something we didn’t know what was that. We are vegetarian people.So we called the manager.We kept on waiting untill 15 minutes and manager was hiding in the kitchen. After 15 minutes he came and when we asked for explanation he said, “ it’s yogurt on the Nan” and then we asked why it is red colour and he replied,” it’s paneer tikka”. He said he spilled paneer tikka on the table thatswhy nan is covered like that. He never apologised for his mistake and kept on saying if this is the issue I can change the nan and you are holding my time I need to serve other people. Very rude service and very poor hygiene.
Had the Selection platter for two, got 2 full sized samosas and bite sized pieces of other items offered, and shared butter chicken as our main. Food was nice and hot very tasty right amount of spice as was ordered. One of the best Indian restaurant meals I’ve had. Friendly hostess got my drink order just right Highly recommend.
Amazing food, amazing service,. I highly recommend this place. This place is very different in aspects of type of quality food and price. Such an amazing food I ever had. The service was very friendly and superb menu, too many vegetarian options as well. It is definitely a nice place for dinner and i would come back to try the other items.
Delicious food. Very relaxing atmosphere. They take care to serve best.
