Pukehuia Park

This park is great for all ages. Wheel chair access and disability parking. Lots of different areas. Great for skateboarding, scotters and BMX.

Pukehuia Park is a relatively new playground located in Newlands, Wellington. It has lots of fun play equipment which caters for a range of ages. It also incorporates a refurbished skate and scooter park. The design includes some lovely murals of Huia birds. It's worth a look if you are in the area.

Cool new park with excellent pump track for bikes

We love this playground however it is not set out very smart. It's very difficult to supervise two or more children as the toddler area is at the front near the road and the bigger kids area is far back with the skate park in between, so you all have to go to the same area to be able to watch everyone.nThe big kids slides aren't that accessible for a lot of children as there's no normal steps or ladders, just ropes.

Pukehuia is a well planned park. A winner for the entire family.nJoyful on the eye, access to a range of safe, built in activities. Hoop half court, skate bowl,nPreschoolers area, sheltered picnic tables and if that isn't enough - a grassed park above that for walking or watching clouds
