We had so much fun in Puke Ariki. Small but very informative about the history of New Plymouth and lives of new migrants. Also fun facts about brown Kiwi and reefs project are very interesting.nThis is the Free entry. Overall, great place for family to visit - as indoors activity.
Quarterly art exhibitions as well as their permanent displys on show. Beautifully presented, this is a modern museum the family will enjoy and learn from.
Awesome museum, we were staying next door so decided to have a look. Really cool! Lots of information and lots of things we didn't know about New Plymouth so that was really good.
This is an awesome place for families and tourists! We take our 18m old, and there is heaps for her to do and see. You can also walk over to the library or to aborio to have a coffee and some food. New installations keep it fresh and exciting, too. There is also a gift shop on sit and elevators for those who need them.
Brilliant free experience for me and my grandson, something for everyone. Great displays, interactive learning for young & old. Loved the Live Reef boat trip, so cool seeing such stuff at our backyard. All for free! I will go back to spend more time at the Count 5 plus 2 display...12 year couldn't see what I was so enthralled with!!
