We visited for a birthday meal while we where in the area, all had a carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cheesecake for dessert was absolutely gorgeous very light and flavoursome. Staff where friendly and attentive we where 40 minutes early to our booking but they seated us anyway which was incredibly kind as the restaurant was incredibly busy with it being a Sunday afternoon.

Full carvery. What else can I say. Ordered a couple of Sunday large size. a true family tradition and kids meals. Plenty of meat and fresh veg. Cleaned my plate. Afterward went to garden to let the kids have a play.

Lovely Sunday carvery! Bar staff lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Nice choice of beers on draught and nice selection of wines. Food was tasty and set out nicely. It was getting busy so booking might be advisable. Plenty of parking across the road and would be easy for wheelchair access.

Went for afternoon tea for the queen's jubilee and it was brilliant. Good selection of food and cakes and the service from Sherlene and Caz was amazing. Will definitely be booking in for the next event!

The staff are so friendly and helpful here! I took my mum, little brother and my dog and we were going to sit outside and have dinner but it was a bit chilly, I asked and found out dogs are allowed inside! Bonus! From the lady behind the bar to the guy serving the carvery and the lady who came over to fuss my pup the staff made us feel really welcome and were lovely. The food was gorgeous and I actually went back for a bit more cauliflower cheese as it was amazing! Really enjoyed our evening here and having just moved to the area, I’m really happy to have found somewhere I can go with my dog.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here today, glad we booked was very busy. All staff were very polite & helpful, the turn round on tables was very quick with dishes cleared & table & chairs sanitised immediately. Great food, Great staff. What a team !! 5 Stars

Went for Sunday Lunch. Had to wait about 10 minutes Mandy sat us at our table. Carvery was the best I've had for ages lovely meat hot vegetables. Milly came to us and asked if we're okay with everything and asked if we wanted pudding you can't have lunch out without having a pudding can you. Both girls were friendly Mandys always happy Jolly always asked how everyone is. Even when you were busy at times she just pleasant and smiley. Mandy been there for many years and is a credit to your company..

Went for a family meal. We had burgers pizzas and carverys. All served lovely and got. Staff were friendly. Got asked though the meal asked if everything was okay with our meal. We even had room for puddings wow the profiteroles ice cream dessert was awesome Would definitely recommend and will be back again. Keep up the good work.

We pulled up to find a massive car park. Pub looked a little aged if im honest. Staff were very helpful and polite. The food was the best value for money I could think of. I'm definitely planning another visit.

Glad to see this large pub and restaurant with impressive beer garden open. Positives: Good service; large menu; large beer garden. Not so positive was the 61 Deep craft beer. In fairness, a member of the team topped it up because it went flat too quickly. May return and try the breakfast.
